Gorsley ShopGorsley Post Office & Stores

The Gorsley Post Office & Stores had been one of the centers of village life in Gorsley since its construction in the 19th century. Originally known as the Royal Stores after its builder Royal Cracknell.

This charming little shop finally closed its doors for the last time in August 2017 following the retirement of Gordon and Diane Martin who had run the shop for the previous 19 years.

In recent years the community has re-established a shop and Post Office at Gorsley Baptist Chapel which is run as a community enterprise and has a range of essentials on offer. More information on products for sale and opening times is available on The Community Shop web site.
